Should you Own or Rent?

One of the eternal arguments is on whether is it financially and emotionally better to own or to rent? A lot of studies have been undertaken to prove either of the two points. I came across one such theory to prove that Renting is a better option. What’s unconventional is the analogy used to ptove that point.

After 5 years of marriage, he paid her $49 million. Assuming he got sex every night during their 5 year relationship (which would NOT have happened!) it ended up costing him $26,849 per time.

I am sure all of you have noticed that manner in which google appearance keeps changing on its home page in keeping with the occasion. The Double ‘O’s in the word Google are played with to depict the mood. So you have olympics symbol as double ‘O’s in Google during recently concluded Beijing Olympics

Or 2 mice waving flags replacing double ‘O’s during Independence day celebration

I found out one such image that Google could use to celebrate World Baywatch Day. Would do you say??

Rajnikant – The Born Ultimatum!!

My corporate stint with an Indian FMCG company involved staying in Madurai for two years. It was during that time that I got exposed to one of the greatest superstars of this country. I don’t think it’s fair to restrict his popularity to only Tamil film industry. It was here that I see ‘people worship’ at its best for this person. He is nothing short of a demi-god in this part of the country. His actions, mannerisms, stunts make headlines and become a cult just days after his movie releases.

Yes, I am talking of Rajnikant. I personally believe that he has high standards when it comes to providing entertainment en mass. And I really don’t think you have to know Tamil to understand and enjoy his films. His larger than life persona got steadily carved out of these action stunts. Some of his favourites prop are that he uses in his stunts are his Glares, Cigarettes, Chewing gums, Guns and Bullets. His popularity soars high because of the physics defying stunts that he performs in his movies. Listed below are some more of those stunts that his fans like me believe he is capable of doing. Visa Requirements for most countries

The biggest hassle of travelling outside India is the visa formality. Nothing causes more shrudders to an avid traveller than understanding the complicated procedures each country has set for itself to allot visas.

I have attached a list where in all the visa formalities coupled with the documents required have been mentioned. The unfortunate part is that the visa procedure is ever evolving and hence there can never be a definitive list for it.

If any of you has travelled recently to the countries mentioned in the list and finds that the procedure and document requirement has changed ping me and I will get the same corrected. Also, if you are aware of the visa formalities of countries not mentioned in the list, then too ping me and I will have those updated.

Hope this helps a bit and makes travel little bit easier and simpler. So that you can now focus you time and energy on local travel, food, place to stay etc etc

I am sure that this is definitely one of Murphy’s law. The bank/airline/hotel number that you are most desperately trying to find is available when you need it the least!! So, a fellow blogger Amit Bhawani came up with a novel idea to compile a list of toll free nos (for most services) as ready recknor. Now all you need to do is print out that sheet and put it on the face of your fridge door.

And hey, if there are more such utility nos that you know of and are not mentioned in this list, then ping them up here!!!
